Accreditation Achievement of the Department of Tourism Management at the Faculty of Applied Sciences

Another unit of Trakya University has been added to the list of accredited departments. The Department of Tourism Management at the Faculty of Applied Sciences has been accredited by the Tourism Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (TURAK) for a period of six years.

Following the application made to TURAK, the body responsible for determining the accreditation conditions and conducting evaluation processes for tourism education, and subsequent inspections carried out by a team of experts in the field, the Department of Tourism Management was accredited. In this regard, the Department of Tourism Management at Trakya University’s Faculty of Applied Sciences has further solidified its esteemed international reputation by achieving national accreditation.

Prof. Dr. Muharrem Tuna, President of TURAK, along with Prof. Dr. Gökhan Sönmezler, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Emel Gönenç Güler, Head of the Department of Tourism Management, and faculty members, visited Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu to share their experiences regarding the process.

Rector Prof. Dr. Erhan Tabakoğlu emphasized that the university is advancing steadily as one of the leading institutions in accreditation and stated that the success of the Department of Tourism Management is of great significance. He concluded by saying, "I congratulate the entire team."
